-When should I schedule the session?
It’s best to schedule the session 4-6 weeks before your child’s actual birthday. This ensures there’s plenty of time to receive edited photos if you want them for invitations or decorations.

- What should my baby wear?
You can dress your baby in a cute outfit for the pre-cake photos. We recommend something simple or themed to match the session. For the smash itself, many parents opt for a diaper cover, romper, or tutu. Feel free to bring extra clothes for cleanup!

-What happens if my child doesn’t like the cake?
Not all children love smashing cakes, and that’s okay! We’ll capture their personality and reactions, which often make for adorable photos regardless. You can also bring extra snacks they enjoy to keep them engaged.

-How do you handle cleanup?
We take care of all cleanup after the session. If you choose the Cakesmash Platinum session, we’ll provide a small tub, warm water, and some bubbles for fun (and adorable) post-cake photos.

-Can siblings or parents join the session?
Yes! While the main focus will be on your little one, we can capture a few moments with siblings or parents before the cake smash portion of the session begins. Please let us know ahead of time so we can prepare accordingly.

-Should I bring anything with me the day of the session?
Yes, please bring any toys or snacks that your baby loves to help encourage smiles if needed. For those selecting the Cake Smash Platinum option, be sure to bring a towel to dry your baby after the session wraps up.

- How long will it take to receive the photos?
Final galleries will be delivered within 20 business days (Monday through Friday) after you’ve made your final selection for editing.
